Begum-built hilltop palace overlooking Bhopal's upper lake — Awadhi-Mughal cuisine and quiet old-world ceremony.
Built for Nawab Hamidullah Khan's daughter, the palace remained a private royal residence till 1999 when it opened to weddings. The kebabs from its kitchen are a story in themselves.
