About Rambagh Palace
Once home to Jaipur's royal family — sweeping lawns, marble verandahs and the gold standard of Taj hospitality.
Built as a hunting lodge for Maharani Kishore Kanwar in 1835, Rambagh became the principal residence of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his queen, Gayatri Devi. Today, every corridor still carries the air of a royal home.
