About Taj Falaknuma Palace
The Nizam of Hyderabad's hilltop palace — Italian marble, Venetian chandeliers and a view of the whole city.
Designed in the shape of a scorpion and completed in 1894, Falaknuma — Mirror of the Sky — was the private residence of the sixth Nizam. Restored by Princess Esra after a decade of work, it now hosts perhaps the most ceremonial weddings in the south.
